What’s on at the mosque
The Food Festival in September, a hot meal after Jumu’ah, the Ramadan calendar, Eid prayers, and whatever the community is putting on next.
The dated things — the food festival, the blessed nights, the Eid prayers — are announced at the mosque and posted here as they are set. One thing happens most Fridays and has done for years.
Coming up
This September · Everyone welcome
Fatih Food FestivalThree days of Turkish cooking in the mosque courtyard — adana and urfa kebab, köfte with rice and salad, and baklava made the same morning. Everyone is welcome, and every plate supports the mosque.
On each of these nights the mosque stays open late. There is a talk after Maghrib, prayers in congregation, and tea afterwards. Dates follow the lunar calendar and may shift by a day.

Something hot after the prayer
Lahmacun one week, pizza another — the kitchen cooks it that morning and sells it after Jumu’ah, and every dollar goes to our students’ education. It is not every single Friday, so ask the staff at the entrance on your way in whether there is something that day.
What happens all year
Some things at the mosque keep their own calendar. These run whether or not anyone announces them.
