Ramadan al-Sharif

Ramadan al-Sharif

Ramadan, also known as Ramadan al-Sharif, is the most sacred and significant month in Islam, honored by Muslims worldwide. Its holiness and virtues are emphasized in the verses of the Holy Qur’an, the hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), and his Sunnah.

This blessed month includes Laylat al-Qadr, the night on which the Qur’an was revealed. Allah describes this night in the Qur’an as being “better than a thousand months,” highlighting its unparalleled spiritual value.

Fasting during Ramadan is an obligatory act of worship for Muslims, offering an opportunity for spiritual growth, reflection, and community connection.

At Fatih Mosque, we celebrate this sacred month by organizing Sahur and Iftar programs, bringing the community together to share in the blessings of fasting. Additionally, we offer Taraweeh prayers in congregation, fostering unity and devotion among worshippers.

We warmly invite you to join us in observing Ramadan al-Sharif. You can also contribute by donating an iftar or sahur meal, helping our students benefit from the blessings of this holy month.
